AI Launch: From Prompts to Production Architectures

Alaia: AI Builders Medellín is launching with its first in-person meetup in Medellín, designed for developers, engineers, curious beginners, and product leaders interested in practical AI. Hosted by Juan David Torres, a software engineering master's graduate with more than 12 years of experience, the session will feature a live demo of a working AI agent and a practical talk on moving from ChatGPT-style prompting to real-world systems using agents, RAG, and tools. The evening also includes a community introduction, a show-and-tell on building an AI app from scratch, networking with refreshments, and a discussion about staying relevant in the software industry. With limited capacity, this event is positioned as the starting point for a growing technical AI community in Medellín and Latin America.
